Pipistrello LED - richiesta info

Lightbox has an option to automatically focus on the first input. It's strongly recommended to use inline popup type for lightboxes with form instead of ajax (to keep entered data if the user accidentally refreshed the page).

Pipistrello

Gae Aulenti, 1965

Gae Aulenti designed the lamp Pipistrello in 1965, then Martinelli Luce carried it out and still manufactures it.
It is a table lamp as well as a floor lamp, whose height is adjustable, characterized by its elusive form with a conical base which develops upwards by widening in the ribbing of the diffusor, like the unfolding of the wings of a bat.

Martinelli Luce has been producing Pipistrello

for 50 years and today it is still an icon

of the Italian design.

GAE AULENTI DESIGNED THIS LAMP IN 1967 FOR THE OLIVETTI SHOP IN PARIS.

Gae Aulenti said:

“I have not considered a lamp from the technical point of view or as a device to produce light, but as a form harmoniously connected with the contest it was created for"

TODAY PIPISTRELLO IS EXHIBITED AT THE MOMA MUSEUM IN NEW YORK
